As the main incumbent Designer for UWL, WDL produced the concept design for the total refurbishment of the Freddie's Bar & Restaurant. Within no time, the Scope expanded and the University appointed WDL as a D&B contractor to deliver all of the works required to revamp this impressive space.   From our joinery workshop in High Wycombe, we designed and built all the cladding and joinery. Rebuilt the bar and surrounding space, refurbished the timber floor, converted all the existing house lighting onto a Dali system as well as the installation of new feature mood lighting. Design, specification, procurement/build of all FF&E, plus providing all 16 pieces of bespoke artwork. The project was completed on time, within budget and again with amazing feedback from our Client and VIP guests at the venue opening party.
